Children's Charity Receives Backing from Duff & Phelps

The firm helped raise over £50,000 in the past three years and hopes to add to this figure this year.

Duff & Phelps, the global advisor that protects, restores and maximizes value for clients, has announced it will once again support children’s charity When You Wish Upon a Star. The black-tie charity ball, taking place on February 8 2020 at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester, will bring together business leaders and industry experts from across the North West. Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner and an array of entertainment throughout the evening, including a live band. 

When You Wish Upon a Star—the children’s charity currently celebrating its 30th anniversary of granting magical wishes—has helped over 18,500 sick children fulfil their dreams. These dreams range from going on a luxury cruise around the Mediterranean, to meeting Mickey Mouse in Disney World Florida. The charity is heavily reliant on donations from the general public and businesses from the local area. Duff & Phelps hopes the money it helps to raise will go a long way in supporting the charity’s fantastic work.
