Daniel Hartnett, Associate Managing Director in the Compliance Risk and Diligence practice, was featured in the June 2019 issue of National Defense Magazine. In his article “Reduce Risks in Overseas Third-Party Relationships,” Daniel discusses the potential for significant legal, regulatory, financial and reputational risks when engaging with overseas third parties for small- and medium-sized defense companies.
Daniel says developing a risk assessment allows various third parties to be segmented based on their level of risk and that “failure to establish a defensible due diligence program will all but guarantee a future legal, regulatory or reputational headache.”
