In a recent Fortune article, Kroll Managing Director David Larsen comments on what factors investors use to value companies such as Virgin Galactic.
"There is the minute-to-minute valuation in the stock market, driven by the actual company performance, formula traders, large mutual funds, a fear of what's happening with disease coming out of China–all of those factors impact the investors' sentiments to one degree or another," David said in the article. David is also a managing director in the San Francisco office of Duff & Phelps and part of the Alternative Asset Advisory service line.
