Duff & Phelps Welcomes New Managing Director in Frankfurt

Frankfurt – Duff & Phelps, the premier global valuation and corporate finance advisor, is pleased to welcome Hartmut Paulus as a Managing Director to its Valuation Advisory practice in the company’s Frankfurt office.

Hartmut has 20 years of experience in M&A, capital markets and financial reporting and is a well recognised expert in valuation services within the German market place. He has particular expertise in valuations relating to the German corporates act, disputes, M&A, fairness opinions, financial reporting and tax related valuations.

He has a strong track-record in large scale projects, both in Germany and across the globe, and has spent many years advising German DAX companies, mid cap corporates, and financial investors in a broad range of sectors, covering telecommunications, IT, media, entertainment, healthcare, logistics, utilities, consumer markets and industrials.

Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Hartmut led KPMG’s Valuations team in Frankfurt, having previously occupied positions of increasing responsibility in the corporate finance practice and was appointed Partner in 2007. Hartmut holds an MBA from Friedrich-Alexander University in Nuremberg, and is a German Certified Public Accountant and Certified Tax Advisor. He is also serving as a guest professor for valuation at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main.
