Kroll, a Division of Duff & Phelps, Expands to Ireland

Kroll, a division of Duff & Phelps, a global leader in risk mitigation, investigations, compliance, cyber resilience, security and incident response solutions, today announced that it has expanded into the Irish market. This is in response to increased demand for services like forensic accounting investigations, asset searches, cyber investigations and business intelligence from companies, law firms and financial institutions in Ireland.

Kroll’s Irish business will be led by Kevin Hart, Associate Managing Director in the Business Intelligence and Investigations practice. Kevin’s team will work closely with Duff & Phelps’ existing Advisory practice in Ireland and Sharon Barrett will be leading that initiative.

Kevin Hart has recently joined Kroll from Grant Thornton and brings over 20 years of experience in fraud, corruption and money laundering investigations; forensic accounting; litigation support; and advising clients on cyber risk. He has deep experience in fraud risk management and has run large scale fraud perception surveys, and anti-fraud and anti-corruption trainings. He has completed the Irish Expert Witness Training with LeTouche. Additionally, he is a member of ISACA and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and was recently elected as board member of the ACFE Irish Chapter.

Since 2014, Duff & Phelps has been providing best in class valuation, restructuring and corporate finance solutions in Ireland. Kroll will fortify the firm’s governance, risk, investigations and disputes offerings, supporting client decision making related to M&A, joint ventures, political risk, new market entry and supply chains. In addition, Kroll will assist clients in managing complex problems including disputes and litigation, sanctions breaches, fraud and corruption, leaks of information and asset searches.

“I’m looking forward to helping clients in Ireland deal with their most difficult challenges both domestically and in emerging and frontier markets across the globe. Our truly global footprint means that we can select the most appropriate team with specialist technical, sectorial, political and jurisdictional expertise, providing effective and efficient solutions tailored to each client’s specific needs.” Kevin said.

“I am delighted to see Kroll ready to support our partners and clients in Ireland, where we already have a team of world-class Duff & Phelps professionals,” Carl Jenkins, global head of the Governance, Risk, Investigations and Disputes practice at Duff & Phelps said. “This expansion demonstrates our commitment to making Ireland a vital component in our global growth strategy.”
