Nicole Y. Lamb-Hale Talks U.S.-China Trade Tensions

Nicole Y. Lamb-Hale, Managing Director in Kroll’s Business Intelligence and Investigations practice and Duff & Phelps Institute Fellow, recently shared her views on CNBC's "Squawk on the Street" on U.S.-China trade tensions.

“Our clients at the Duff & Phelps Institute have been very concerned about the market uncertainty that this trade war has created. One of the sticking points is changing the domestic laws, both at the federal and provincial and local levels in China, and that’s a hard pill for the Chinese to swallow,” Nicole said. “We need to return to multi-lateralism; efforts like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which would have created an environment in which China would have felt more compelled to make some of the changes we’re seeking from a structural standpoint.”
