One of the co-founders of IndiGo has taken the ongoing feud to the London court for arbitration. Tarun Bhatia, Managing Director and Head of South Asia for our the Business Intelligence and Investigations practice,commented that this may be a result of both co-founders not being able to resolve the issues which are deeper than what it may seem.
The case had been ongoing for months, with both co-founders attempting on several occasions to find a resolution.
“I think, it suggests that the two promoters aren’t able to resolve the issues among themselves, and thus, they have gone for arbitration,” said Tarun. “Arbitration can help in independent settlement unless the relationship worsens, which can then become a dispute.”
