'Tone From the Top' - Dealing with Governance and Culture

Duff & Phelps is hosting a breakfast briefing where we will discuss the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR), and how setting an appropriate "Tone from the Top" is a vital driver of culture and best practice within a firm and assists in the proper delivery of those.

We're delighted to be joined by The Lord Myners CBE, politician, "crossbencher", former Financial Services Secretary in HM Treasury and active financial services commentator, who will deliver a keynote speech on the importance of senior management setting the right expectations for staff so that they work in the best interests of the clients and of the firm itself.

We will also be joined by David Whincup, a specialist financial services employment lawyer with extensive experience in SM&CR. He will draw upon his experience from the banking and insurance industries being already subject to these provisions.
