Managing Director and Head of Southern Europe Marianna Vintiadis was recently named among the 40 top women leaders in Italian businesses in a Milano Finanza article, “Ecco le donne che contano” (“Here are the women who count”). Marianna joins a prestigious group of women leaders of national and international firms that include Walgreens Boots Alliance, SAP Italia, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Johnson & Johnson Italia, Lenovo and Versace.
Inspired by a recent article in the Wall Street Journal, reporter Stefania Peveraro and the Milano Finanza staff focused on women leaders and the paths they took to their current roles in various companies in Italy; these included Italian subsidiaries of multinational corporations, financial institutions, family-owned businesses, industrial conglomerates, and telecoms, just to name a few. In highlighting Marianna’s role as Head of Kroll’s Milan office and Country Manager of Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal, the article noted that Italian subsidiaries of multinational companies (like Kroll) were more likely to have women at their helm than Italian ones.
