Abhineet leverages more than 10 years of experience as a leader and consultant in application, API, mobile, infrastructure, cloud security and cyber security program delivery and management. With his wide variety of cybersecurity experience, he has assisted clients in a variety of sectors including financial services, technology and aviation.
Prior to the acquisition of Security Compass Advisory (SCA) by Kroll in December 2021, Abhineet served as Director and Principal Security Consultant at SCA Canada. Before that, he worked in India as Security Consultant at Ernst & Young, Security Compass and AKS IT Services, where his primary responsibilities included cybersecurity program delivery and management, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, automation and tool development, construction of offensive security methodologies and research and development.
Abhineet received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Maharshi Dayanand University. He also holds the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge
(CCSK). Abhineet is an open-source contributor and project leader for mobile application security testing tools/scripts and OWASP Damn Vulnerable Web Sockets. He spoke at the OWASP global appSec US 2015 conference and is a regular contributor at Null India – Delhi Chapter meetings.
