Prior to joining Kroll, Alok was a director at a Big Four firm in India, where he was part of the advisory services practice focusing on construction disputes. He assisted various construction companies and public sector undertakings in the analysis and preparation of claims arising from delays and cost overruns on construction projects. He also assisted in preparation of expert reports for arbitration proceedings.
Alok has extensive experience in the construction industry, working with major engineering, procurement and construction contractors in Bahrain, Qatar, India and the UK. His major industry experience includes his involvement in the London 2012 Olympics project, where he was responsible for planning and project control of the London Aquatics Centre.
Alok is a civil engineer with a post-graduation degree in construction management from the National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR). He has also gained a Level 3 National Vocational Qualification in construction contracting operations (planning) from the UK. He is a Chartered Project Management Surveyor and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
