Bernardo leverages over 35 years of experience in planning, development and implementation of engineering and infrastructure construction programs and projects across different sectors in Colombia and internationally. He also excels in analysis, testimony, advice and investigations of independent experts for disputes in complex projects in the construction and infrastructure sectors.
Prior to joining Kroll, Bernardo was Managing Partner of Global Project Strategy (GPS), a leading Latin American dispute resolution, contract management, planning and project control firm. He focused on leading teams of experts in the construction and infrastructure sectors, planning and developing engineering and construction projects, building solutions and advising clients on resolving complex processes and minimizing impact on projects, in Latin America. Before that, he served as President of the Engineering and Construction Division at Summun Energy. Throughout his career, Bernardo has led and managed construction and infrastructure companies across Latin America.
At Kroll, Bernardo is responsible for providing advice and dispute resolution in the construction and infrastructure sector in Latin America. He provides advice to owners, dispute consulting and expert witness testimony in complex scenarios for clients, including private investors, investment funds, private equity, banking institutions and governments.
Bernardo received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Universidad de los Andes and a master's degree in project management from Northwestern University.
