Co-President, Risk Advisory

Brent R. Tomlinson is Co-President of the Risk Advisory practice and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, based in Chicago. In this role, Brent oversees a broad range of global risk solutions including cybersecurity advisory, data analytics, regulatory compliance, complex investigations, expert witness, restructuring, complex business services and related GRC technologies.

Since joining Kroll in 2019, Brent has held various executive positions, including most recently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer of Kroll and the Chief Operating Officer of Kroll's Governance and Risk Advisory practice.

Prior to joining Kroll, Brent held the role of Chief Strategy Officer at Prime Clerk where he led the development, execution and implementation of growth strategies. During his tenure, Brent led the acquisition of Prime Clerk by Kroll in 2019. 

Brent began his career at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP where he focused on M&A and securities transactions and subsequently worked at Latham & Watkins LLP focused on M&A. He later worked at Centerview Partners, a boutique investment bank. 

Brent holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.S. from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. He serves on the Board of the Georgetown University Wall Street Alliance.
