In addition to alternative asset advisory, Brian has consulted clients on internal policies and procedures related to valuation and financial reporting, origination operations, and servicing operations. Brian has also performed model validations and pre-transaction diligence services for public and private originating and servicing platforms. Such consulting engagements focus on implementing policies and procedures consistent with industry best practices and regulations.
Prior to joining the firm, Brian advised clients on a variety of engagements at Houlihan Capital, including valuations of private equity investments, fixed income products, securitizations, and complex derivatives. In addition, Brian managed a number of fairness opinions and solvency opinions. Brian received his B.S.B.A. in finance with a minor in economics from John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH. Brian has passed the FINRA series 7 and 66 exams and is a CFA Charterholder. Brian is an active member of the CFA Society of Chicago.
