Prior to joining Kroll, Carlos was a director at Forest Partners, a position he held from February 2014 to February 2019, at which time Forest Partners was acquired by Kroll. He has worked predominately in the field of business restructuring, concentrating on debt and workforce restructuring. In addition, he has prepared technical and expert witness reports, defending and ratifying evidence in court and in arbitration tribunals and worked on insolvency cases in which Forest Partners’ professionals were appointed as administrators.
Earlier in his career, Carlos was CFO at the Juteco Group, a firm which distributes and sells perfumery and personal hygiene products at specialist stores. He was a member of the committee formed to handle the sale of the company and was actively involved in preparing the sale prospectus. Prior to that, Carlos worked in KPMG’s audit department.
He has an honors degree in economics and business studies from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Carlos has also attended seminars on project management and strategy planning at IESE and ESADE.
