Caroline advises on the practice’s overall strategy and business development efforts, assists with the resolution of complex legal issues that arise from examinations, and works with state clients on key issues. She previously served as CEO of Verus Analytics immediately following the company’s acquisition by Kroll in July 2020.
Caroline also held previous roles as General Counsel and COO, advising on company strategy and running the legal, compliance and risk management functions, including managing the performance of over 200 complex examinations of some of the largest companies in the U.S. She was instrumental in negotiating the terms of over 40 comprehensive agreements, resolving those examinations, which resulted in the return of over $12 billion.
Prior to Verus, Caroline represented a wide variety of clients, including state pension funds and other institutional investors. She served as an assistant district attorney in the New York County District Attorney’s office and is on the Fortune Society, Inc.’s board.
Caroline holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from Fordham Law School.
