Chris leverages more than 23 years of military intelligence and cyber security experience, demonstrating deep domain expertise in areas ranging from advanced offensive security and threat intelligence to cloud security and defensive security engineering and operations. He has worked with clients in sectors such as government, technology, finance, pharmaceuticals and others, helping them to secure their technology assets. Chris brings a unique perspective, having experience on both the offensive and defensive side of security and is able to assist any client in building end-to-end security programs.
Prior to joining Kroll, Chris served as Director of Security Engineering and Operations at Cvent, a technology provider for meetings, events and hospitality management. He also held penetration testing, cloud infrastructure security, DevSecOps and counterintelligence roles at FusionX LLC, SOS International LLC (now SOSi), Mission Essential and the U.S. Army.
Chris holds a B.S. in computer and information science from the University of Maryland. He also holds the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional from the International Information System Security Certification Consortium and Certified Ethical Hacker from the EC Council.
Being active in the security community, Chris has shared his knowledge at conferences and is involved in mentoring the next generation of security professionals.
