Clive Holloway is Director in the Expert Services practice, based in London. Clive leverages over 45 years of experience as a testifying programme delay expert in the construction and engineering industry.

He is an accomplished construction professional and has dedicated his career to programming, scheduling, delay analysis, claims planning and expert witness work.

Clive has worked on many international projects across various sectors, including construction, building, civil engineering, mass transit rail, oil and gas, roads, energy, infrastructure, transportation, industrial, power, etc. He operates globally, with significant activity in Asia and the Middle East.

Clive has been frequently appointed as an expert witness and is proficient in honing down on key issues in a dispute to resolve the differences between the parties prior to the hearing. He also has a significant amount of experience in working with legal counsel and lawyers to prepare for arbitration and/or litigation, including rigorous testing of his analysis, reports and opinions; meeting with opposing experts in formal proceedings; formulating joint statements; and being cross-examined, giving expert evidence and testimony in an arbitration hearing on four occasions.  

Clive frequently presents his analysis and opinions as well as fields questions in adjudications, mediations, negotiations, amicable settlements and other informal proceedings. He has also been recognized by Who’s Who Legal (WWL) as a Construction Consultant and Arbitration Expert Witness from 2019 to 2024.

Clive has delivered seminars and talks, some CPD accredited, to lawyers and construction professionals (including CIOB, RICS, HKIE, HKIS) on programming principles and delay analysis in construction disputes. He has also authored and contributed to numerous articles and papers on his specialty, with published titles such as Analysis of Delay, Wait and See for EOT, Baseline Planned Programme Faults, Two Expert Roles – Advisor and Witness, and Disruption.
