Daniel advises clients on intangible property valuation, U.S. and foreign transfer pricing documentation, global transfer pricing planning and implementation analyses, and controversy resolution involving transfer pricing matters. Daniel also has extensive experience performing transfer pricing valuation services in connection with cost sharing arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, and internal business restructurings for Kroll’s largest clients across a wide spectrum of industries. He works with companies in industries such as security and life safety, industrials, biomedical devices, pharmaceuticals, retail, entertainment, telecommunications, and internet and application software.
Daniel is a frequent speaker at National Association for Business Economics (NABE)' annual Transfer Pricing Symposium, the American Bar Association, and the International Fiscal Association (IFA), where he has presented on transfer pricing topics related to IP valuation, caselaw trends and transfer pricing regulatory developments, among others. He is also an active member of the USA branch of IFA, serving on the IFA USA New England Chapter’s Regional Council and formally as Executive Vice President and President of IFA USA’s Young IFA Network.
Prior to joining Kroll, Daniel worked for two years in the tax group of the Boston office of CBIZ, where he provided transfer pricing and international tax services to clients, as well as services in all areas of ASC 740. Before that, he was a tax paralegal in the Boston office of Sullivan & Worcester, LLP.
Daniel received an M.S. in accountancy from Bentley University and a B.A. in history from McGill University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Massachusetts.
