Prior to joining Kroll, Dave played an integral role in building the forensic technology practices at PwC (9 years) and before that at EY (14 years). Over the course of his career, Dave has led technology teams supporting numerous forensic investigations of both public and private companies. These investigations were on matters related to whistleblower allegations of financial statement fraud, company mismanagement, asset misappropriation, bribery and corruption violations, stock option backdating, theft of intellectual property, second requests and other regulatory matters.
Dave also has extensive experience working with the corporate compliance and legal departments alongside external counsel, helping them conduct investigations, respond to government inquiries and regulatory requests, analyze large volumes of data, and improve clients' internal capabilities to insource components of the electronic discovery process.
More recently, Dave has assisted financial services and energy clients by functionally transforming their internal compliance and monitoring programs. His experience included helping corporate information technology and compliance teams develop requirements, identify and select technology, and implement transformational programs, leveraging commercially available software for improving operations.
In addition to his significant client experience, Dave has also held strategic management positions operating as Chief Technology Officer for one of the world’s largest forensic technology practices. In this role, he provided strategic business imperatives that drove technology strategy and focused corporate information technology teams on delivering market differentiating solutions.
Dave received a BBA in management information systems from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
