Dean has worked with a wide range of clients, including private companies, early-stage businesses and S&P 500 public firms, across all sectors of the energy industry, including upstream, midstream, downstream, and oilfield services.
Prior to joining Kroll, he worked as a Senior Advisor at a Houston-based energy consulting firm, where he developed their valuation advisory service line. Before entering the valuation advisory service business, Dean worked for an integrated oil and gas company in both accounting and tax.
Dean has extensive experience in valuing companies and assets for M&A, tax reporting and financial reporting. He has also performed valuations for purchase price allocation (ASC Topic 805 and IRC 1060), impairment testing (ASC Topic 350 and 360), domestic and international tax planning and reorganizations, estate and gift tax, and litigation support purposes.
Dean received his BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a registered representative for FINRA Series 79 and 63.
