Doug Wilder

Doug Wilder is a Director in Kroll Transaction Advisory Services practice, based in New York. He has expertise in conducting buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for public and private companies. He leverages over 17 years of experience providing audit and advisory services to public and private companies, including nine years of M&A advisory and transaction services. He also has extensive experience analyzing the quality of earnings, key business and earnings drivers, working capital and post-closing purchase price adjustments.

Before joining Kroll, Doug worked at RSM US LLP, providing financial due diligence and technical accounting consulting services to middle-market companies. Prior to this, Doug spent approximately eight years between Deloitte and EY, providing audit and accounting advisory services. He has advised clients on projects including implementations of the new revenue recognition standard (ASC 606), financial reporting and analysis, internal controls and risk management, IPO readiness, and finance and accounting performance improvement.

Doug has advised on transactions ranging from USD 5 million to over USD 500 million in several industries, including business and professional services, financial services, technology services and products, industrial services and products, manufacturing, retail and e-commerce, and food & beverage.

Doug received B.Sc. magna cum laude in accounting and economics from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a licensed certified public accountant in the state of New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association for Corporate Growth.
