Eddie has led projects for clients ranging from listed plc’s to owner managed businesses across a range of industries, including banking, insurance, real estate, consumer products and retail. His notable assignments include:

A project for a global investment bank, which involved planning and implementing the wind down and subsequent solvent liquidation of a population of special purpose vehicles (SPVs) identified as surplus to requirements following a group tax restructuring

A project for a FTSE100 listed insurer, where he led the rationalization of the firm’s UK entity structure. His team worked with the Board and senior stakeholders to develop effective risk management processes around the elimination of companies from the group structure by way of solvent liquidation. The team reduced the UK group structure from approximately 200 to 50 companies

A project for a global retailer working alongside senior stakeholders to eliminate circa 50 companies deemed surplus to requirements by the group across multiple jurisdictions. This included managing the closure and subsequent liquidation of an unprofitable, non-core subsidiary.
Prior to joining Kroll, Eddie served as a senior manager at KPMG. Before that, he was an assistant director at EY. He has authored thought leadership articles on corporate structure simplification and presented on this topic and liquidations generally, on numerous occasions.
Eddie is a qualified insolvency practitioner and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
