Prior to joining Kroll, Ekaterina served as a project manager and senior auditor at Rockwell Automation in Milwaukee. At Rockwell, Ekaterina was involved in various finance projects involving all business units, including international divisions (Europe, Latin America and Asia). Before that, she worked in Arthur Andersen’s audit practice. Her audit clients included public and private companies in the telecommunications, manufacturing, consumer products and hospitality industries. She was also heavily involved in special projects, including due diligence and conversion of financial statements from/to various standards, including US GAAP, IFRS and German GAAP.
Ekaterina specializes in leading financial due diligence investigations, providing transaction accounting and structuring guidance, performing business pre-deal valuations, supporting post-closing purchase price adjustments and negotiations, providing financial reporting and consolidation assistance, including assistance with registration statements and dispute resolution assistance. Ekaterina has worked with the management teams of her client’s portfolio companies in completing add-on acquisitions. She has also advised on numerous complex carve-out transactions and a number of multinational and cross-border transactions, including in the UK, Germany, Bulgaria and other countries. She has worked on transactions ranging in size from minority investments of approximately $3 million to acquisitions greater than $3 billion.
Ekaterina received her MBA in finance and strategic management from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. She also holds her B.S. in economics and is a Certified Public Accountant in Oregon. Ekaterina is a co-chair of Kroll Network of Women, an internal global initiative, focusing on attracting, retaining and developing women, providing opportunities for women within Kroll and beyond to grow, network and build lasting business relationships.
