Elaine will lead Kroll’s Asia real estate valuation advisory services covering all fixed assets valuations in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Australia. She leverages more than 16 years of experience in valuations for initial public offerings, public circular, joint venture negotiations, portfolio review, assurance, mergers and acquisitions, accounting, impairment tests, etc.
Elaine performs valuations on fixed assets in compliance with impairment test, purchase price allocation, financing, financial reporting, potential transactions, public listing under International Valuation Standard (IVS), RICS Valuation Standard, HKIS Valuation Standards, IFRS and U.S. financial accounting for Asia and multinational companies. Elaine’s clients include corporations, listing companies, REITS, governments, law firms, banks and investors, including Huixian REIT, PGIM, PCPD, PLDT, Carlye, New World Development, Hengdeli Group, Ikea, Johson Controls, COSCO, GoSource, etc.
Elaine is a Registered Surveyor. She has been actively involved in the valuation of different types of properties and fixed assets, including land, commercial, retail, shopping malls, industrial, resort sites, golf courses, hotels, hospitals, community buildings, logistics centers, cold storage, telecommunication buildings, data centers, construction sites, composite developments, residential properties, non-performing assets, inventories, and machinery and equipment in the Asia Pacific regions.
Prior to joining Kroll, Elaine served in the Real Estate Valuation Department in Debenham Tie Leung Limited and Colliers International (Hong Kong) Limited, property consultancy firms. She was in charge of several large-scale valuation assignments, including property portfolios of property developers and property funds. Apart from valuation works, she also provides consultancy services to clients in relation to land administration, government requisition projects, planning and property development matters.
Elaine holds a Master of Finance (Investment Management) and a Bachelor of Science in real estate from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), a Member of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (MHKIS), Registered Professional Surveyors under Surveyors Registration Broad (RPS(GP)), a Member of China Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and Agents (CIREA) and an Estate Agent’s License (Individual).
