Eric leverages more than ten years of digital forensics and incident response experience in complex cybersecurity investigations, including incident response involving email compromise and wire transfer fraud, corporate espionage, insider threats, ransomware and data exfiltration. He has provided over 1,000 hours of testimony at depositions, hearings and courtroom trials. Eric is a peer coach for the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists.
Prior to joining Kroll, Eric served as Senior Consultant, Digital Forensics and Incident Response at the security company Pondurance. Before that, he held the role of Special Deputy U.S. Marshal – Cyber/Fraud Task Force & Network Intrusion at the United States Secret Service. Eric has also held roles at the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office and Punta Gorda Police Department.
