Gareth leverages more than nine years of experience in technical accounting advisory. He leads the technical accounting and structuring support on financial buy- and sell-side due diligence engagements across most industries and geographies. In addition, he assists clients on technical transaction support and the implementation and impact analysis of new accounting standards.
Gareth has advised clients on complex accounting and practical issues under both the U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He is recognized for providing independent, practical and commercial-focused technical accounting advice on various matters across the whole deal lifecycle.
Prior to joining Kroll, Gareth was in Ernst and Young’s Financial Accounting Advisory Service group, where he specialized in transaction accounting and financial instruments.
Gareth holds a Bachelor of Business Science in finance and accounting. He is a registered Chartered Accountant.
