Leveraging over 25 years of experience, he has held various senior executive roles in the financial sector, including heading the Dutch corporate restructuring department at ABN AMRO. As a turnaround and restructuring consultant, a key achievement includes his involvement in a large-scale international restructuring of a leading European family-owned company in the shipping industry.
Prior to joining Kroll, Gerben was a partner at ACE Advisory, which underwent a talent acquisition by Kroll for the team in the Netherlands. As a co-founder of ACE Advisory, he played a pivotal role in its strategic growth and advised on numerous large-scale operational and financial restructurings. He has also fulfilled multiple interim C-suite roles, with his most recent positions being Chief Transformation Officer and currently Chief Financial Officer.
His primary focus at Kroll will be to grow the Restructuring practice by leveraging relationships with financial institutions and private equity, while also identifying opportunities for faster growth in M&A and debt services through Kroll’s extensive network.
