Prior to joining Kroll in August 2012, John was Director of Security for the Wells Fargo national account, Jones Lang LaSalle (formerly Wachovia, Cushman & Wakefield). The assignment covered security management and operations of the corporate real estate portfolio, including senior executive offices, trading floors, data centers, critical infrastructure, and building management systems. His additional responsibilities were fire and life safety planning and preparedness, continuity of operations, emergency preparedness, security operations management, security system management, and federal law enforcement liaison.
Earlier in his career, John was Senior Security Consultant with Prudential Financial. His primary responsibilities included assessments and planning and implementation of asset protection programs and systems across the enterprise, including North America, Latin America and Asia.
In August 2020, John was selected to serve as a voting member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Physical Asset Protection Standard and Facilities Physical Security Measures Guideline technical committee. The committee reviewed and edited ASIS’s emerging reference guideline for use by security industry practitioners
John has served as an Adjunct Lecturer at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in the Protection Management department since 2008. He teaches classroom and online graduate-level courses in a Master of Science program.
John holds a master's degree in Protection Management, from John Jay College and is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
