His portfolio includes preparing technical and expert witness reports of economic, financial and accounting nature.
Prior to joining Kroll, Luis was a director at Forest Partners in its Barcelona office, from July 2015 to February 2019, at which time Forest Partners was acquired by Kroll. Prior to that, he held the title of audit director and joined the technical department at BDO, where he worked on regulatory compliance-related audit and accounting. Earlier in his career, Luis was a part of the audit division of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Barcelona.
He has experience preparing and critiquing expert reports relating to commercial litigation matters, shareholder disputes and forensic investigations. He has provided evidence in several jurisdictions (including legal courts) and arbitration cases.
Luis received a degree in economics and business studies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He also holds an executive master’s in finance management from ESADE and a postgraduate diploma in audit from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Luis is a member of the Spanish Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Official Register of Auditors (ROAC) and a member of the Register of Accounting Experts (REC) kept by the General Council of Chartered Accountants.
