Marcel has a distinguished record of advising top-tier clients from all industries - including listed companies (DAX & Fortune 500), private-Equity firms, family-owned companies, governments and NGOs - through complex transformation projects, post-merger integrations, operational carve-outs, and market-entry strategies across Europe, US, Asia, and South America.
Highlighting his high-impact work, Marcel was responsible for reshaping a Pan-European energy company’s approach to renewable energy, contributing to Europe’s green future by 2030 and setting up the first sustainable C-Position in a Dax company executive board.
Prior to joining Kroll, Marcel applied his expertise and passion as an Associate Director at KPMG Global Strategy Group. He also worked as a senior advisor for a leading German AI-company (Spin-off of the German Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence), as well as Project manager in the corporate development and chief of staff for a Member of the Executive Board at Deutsche Bank/ Postbank and Bertelsmann SE. After he work at the CIB – Corporate and Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank.

Marcel holds a Ph.D. in macro-economics from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management / LSE - London School of Economics. He studied abroad at the Peking University PKU and the Griffith University in Australia. In addition, he holds a M.Sc. from Leeds University Business School and a B.Sc. from the Frankfurt School of Management. He is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Society honouring the top 5 percent of worldwide business school graduates)
