Meredith is a key part of Kroll’s Settlement Administration practice, widely recognized for her strategic thinking and conscientious focus on client service standards, with an eye toward driving innovation in complex engagements. Her in-depth engagement with high stakes litigation makes her ideally situated to advise clients in a wide array of cross-disciplinary practice areas including securities, antitrust, government enforcement and consumer protection.
Prior to joining Kroll, Meredith was an accomplished litigator for over a decade, including 10 years handling complex securities class actions as a key attorney at Motley Rice LLC. Meredith was an integral member of the lead counsel teams representing institutional investors in securities fraud class actions filed against Alexion Pharmaceuticals ($125 million settlement), Twitter ($809.5 million settlement), Advanced Micro Devices ($27.5 million settlement), and Barrick Gold ($140 million recovery), amongst others.
She has been acknowledged on several “Best Lawyers” lists for Ones to Watch - Securities Litigation. Meredith is also committed to giving back to her community through a wide range of volunteer work and active participation in charitable organizations. She is on the board of Charleston HALOS, and a promoter of the arts as a member of the Charleston Gibbes Museum of Art’s Women’s Council and a supporter of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra.
Meredith received her bachelor’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin. She is licensed to practice law in South Carolina and Texas. She also spent time studying at the Sorbonne Université in Paris and studying international arbitration law in Geneva, Switzerland.
