Murad Dovodov is a director in the Portfolio Valuation practice, based in London. Murad has over 15 years of experience in the valuation of a wide range of alternative assets for a variety of purposes. He has advised corporate and financial clients as well as national governments.

Murad specializes in the valuation of assets and businesses in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure industries, and he has experience providing valuations and corporate finance advisory in the hydrocarbons value chain, mineral resources and energy transition industries in EMEA, the Former Soviet Union and the Americas.

Prior to joining Kroll, Murad led and developed advisory services for IHS Markit, Deloitte UK and Baker Hughes Consulting. At IHS Markit, he was responsible for developing and leading the Valuations team for the Energy and Natural Resources service line. He has gained strong transactional, investment and industry experience through his services to Mittal Investments and ExxonMobil.

Murad holds a Master of Science in energy finance from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP) at the University of Dundee. He is a Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), specializing in valuation of businesses and intangible assets. Murad is also a member of the British Institute of Energy Economics, the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain. He is a native Russian speaker and is fluent in English.
