Neel Valera

Neel has completed business valuations and intangible asset valuations for purchase price allocations, including a variety of intangible assets, for both IFRS 3 and ASC 805. He has also performed goodwill impairment testing under IAS 36 and ASC 350. In addition, Neel has performed numerous valuations for private equity clients under IPEV guidelines.

Neel is aligned with the energy, utilities and infrastructure team and his industry experience includes assisting in the valuation of regulated and unregulated assets across Europe, North America and Asia. Neel has extensive experience in valuing investments for infrastructure fund clients including the valuation of renewable assets in the UK, Spain, Italy, Philippines and India and regulated assets including distribution and transmission assets; throughput assets including toll roads, ports and airports and social infrastructure assets including schools, hospitals and crematoria.

Additionally, Neel’s experience includes advising clients across a broad range of industries such as technology, healthcare, financial services and consumer products.

Neel graduated from CASS Business School, receiving a MSc in Financial Mathematics, completing his undergraduate BSc in Mathematics from Queen Mary University of London.
