Omid has extensive experience in the valuation of businesses, corporate securities and complex derivatives using standard and proprietary option theory-based valuation methodologies. He specializes in the valuation of securities in complex capital structures, over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives, credit derivatives, incentive stock compensation, embedded derivatives and management incentive plans.
Prior to joining Kroll, Omid served as a quantitative risk analyst at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where he was responsible for energy market risk modeling.
Omid received a B.E. in biomedical engineering from Azad University and holds both a double master’s in electrical engineering from the University of Tehran and a master’s in financial engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
