Prior to joining Kroll, Pedro served as a specialist in cybersecurity, privacy and resilience, leading the structuring of the company’s Cyber Security and Privacy business and developing the business and its partnerships. Before that, he held the title of Cybersecurity Senior Manager at EY. Pedro also played a significant role in transforming working practices for a developing country, collaborating on cybersecurity and IT governance workstreams. Additionally, he has supported several clients from different sectors on transforming their cybersecurity and privacy organizations and advising boards and executives on managing their risk while delivering their business strategies.
Previously, Pedro has also advised one of the main oil and gas companies in LATAM on transforming their Information Technology and Operational Technology Security, supporting technical and business decisions and focusing on end-customer services.
Pedro’s expertise has been featured in Estado de São Paulo newspaper as author of Environmental, social, and governance and General Data Protection Law: corporate responsibility as a common denominator. Pedro has also represented Kroll in the Cyber Security corporate event Mind the Sec 2022, speaking on the topic Know your organization's level of exposure and prepare for a cyberattack.
Pedro holds an MBA in business innovation and another MBA in information security management from the Faculdade de Informática e Administração Paulista (FIAP). He also holds a Diploma in marketing and sales management and planning from the Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, and a degree in telecommunications engineering from the Centro Universitário do Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia. He holds the following professional certifications: certified information privacy manager (CIPM) with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP); certified data protection officer (DPO); certified information security manager (CISM); certified information security manager (CISM); and Harvard Advanced Management Mentor, Harvard Business School.
Pedro has also been involved in charitable initiatives, which include acting as a teacher for EY Institute (non-profit) and developing a social program to distribute food to homeless people.
