She has over 16 years of experience in financial advisory services. Pilar is a specialist in performing valuations of businesses and assets, portfolio valuation, impairment test analyses, purchase price allocation analyses and business modelling.
Prior to joining Kroll, Pilar served as a project leader at PEMEX for five years. She was a leader in the valuation of oil and gas fields for the farmouts originating with Mexico’s energy reform as well as the valuation of midstream and downstream assets. Previously, she has also worked as a manager in the Valuation Services unit of PwC and as an analyst and senior at Deloitte.
Pilar has provided several valuation and modelling consulting services for different companies for the purposes of mergers and acquisitions, reporting, accounting, tax planning, financing and litigation and has gained experience across a wide range of industries and countries.
Her notable engagements include the valuation of companies and assets in a range of industries, including automotive, energy, infrastructure, food and beverage, retail and health services, for large companies globally. She also has experience in portfolio valuation, working for the largest private equity firms.
Pilar holds a B.S. in finance (Honors) from Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and holds a Master of Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles in Spain.
