Prior to joining Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps), Robert was a senior manager at Deloitte & Touche, leading the Complex Properties practice for the central United States. He also was an executive vice president with Real Estate Analysis Corporation, a valuation and consulting firm in Chicago. He has provided valuation appeals, negotiations, pre- and post-acquisition due diligence, real estate transfer tax analysis, litigation support, personal property compliance and property tax exemptions. Robert advises owners of complex properties and multi-jurisdictional portfolios from a variety of diverse industries.
Robert holds a B.B.A. in finance and real estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a licensed certified general real estate appraiser in numerous states and holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute.

Robert has provided expert witness testimony in federal and local courts and administrative venues for property types such as manufacturing facilities, paper mills, power plants, electric transmission and distribution systems, ethanol plants, airline terminals, casinos, single and multi-tenant office buildings, single-tenant laboratories buildings and single and multi-tenant retail facilities.
Robert has provided property tax consulting assistance to a wide variety of property types such as airlines, automotive parts facilities, baseball stadiums, casinos, solar panel manufacturing plants, single-tenant office and laboratory buildings and single-and multi-tenant retail facilities.
