He also provides independent expert witness and consulting services on complex projects to law firms, project owners, contractors, designers and other industry-related firms.
Prior to joining Kroll, Rob held senior practice positions at Diales, BDO and FTI. Before that, he was a member of the construction consulting practice at Marsh, an associate director at Navigant and a project engineer at LiRo Engineering and Construction Management.
Rob has prepared expert reports, including both delay and damages analysis, as well as provided expert witness testimony on various matters in South America, the United States and Canada. He has also testified in court, arbitrations, city hearings and has participated in mediations. Rob provides consulting services on active projects including schedule development and updating, change order preparation and analysis, preparation and review of requests for equitable adjustment. In addition, he has also provided consulting services on surety and insurance claims and is experienced in the preparation of cost to complete analyses, preparing theoretical rebuild schedules and preparing proof of loss statements.
Rob holds a B.S. in engineering from Syracuse University and is a licensed professional engineer. He frequently presents on delay and quantum analysis at industry conferences. Rob has been a member of the adjunct faculty at the New York University Tandon School of Engineering (formerly Polytechnic University) since 2004, where he actively teaches graduate level construction scheduling classes.
