She has approximately 20 years experience in valuations and prior to this qualified as a Chartered Accountant, working for 4 years within a ‘big four’ audit practice.
Ruth has performed business and intangible asset valuations for global companies covering a range of industries. Her experience includes assisting companies in determining values for financial reporting, tax planning, transaction advisory support, portfolio valuation and dispute purposes. Her engagement highlights include purchase price allocations and asset valuations for financial reporting purposes under IFRS and US GAAP; intangible asset and goodwill impairment tests; equity and asset valuations for tax purposes, valuation of private equity and hedge fund investments and portfolios, dispute consulting engagements and fairness opinions.
Ruth received a BSc. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Exeter, England. Ruth is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a CFA Charter holder.
