He has performed valuations of portfolios of illiquid equity interests held by large private equity funds and has valued complex portfolios of private loans and equity including senior secured and subordinated debt, convertible preferred and common equity, warrants and other derivatives under the guidelines of ASC §820 or the equivalent international standard.
Ryan’s other experience includes the valuation of businesses and intangible assets for a diverse range of companies, including: technology, consumer products, industrial manufacturers, as well as numerous other companies under the guidelines of ASC §805 (formerly SFAS 141) and ASC §350 (formerly SFAS 142).
Ryan joined Kroll in conjunction with the merger of Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting (“CVC”) with Kroll. Ryan received his B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University.
