He is focused on advising technology, media and telecommunications companies on mergers, acquisitions and capital raises. Prior to joining the firm, Samir was a managing director in the Technology, Media and Communications groups at Oppenheimer, JMP Securities, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup.

Samir has over 20 years of investment banking experience and has advised senior management teams, boards of directors and special committees of both established public and private companies and emerging growth companies. His transaction experience includes the structuring and negotiating of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, LBOs and the delivery of associated fairness opinions and financings. Some of his former clients include AT&T, Comcast/NBC Universal, Alibaba, Liberty Media, EverQuote, TrueCar, Zillow, Meet Group, Match.com, Yatra, Trans World Entertainment (Etailz), Snap, Edgenet, Time Warner, Walt Disney, Pandora Media, Thomson Reuters, Bell Canada, Pareteum, AVG Technologies, Intellicheck and MobiTV.

Samir earned a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science (Finance) and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Boston University. He is a member of the New York Bar and holds the FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
