He leverages more than 20 years of valuation advisory and corporate finance experience in performing valuations of businesses and assets for financial reporting, tax, and mergers and acquisitions. He also has extensive experience in performing appraisals for purchase price allocation, impairment testing, stock-based compensation and international tax planning. Scott has valued a wide variety of intangible assets, including trade names, customer relationships, proprietary technology, in-process research and development, franchise rights, Federal Communications Commission licenses, contractual relationships, and an assembled workforce.
Prior to joining Kroll, Scott served as a financial planning and analysis manager with Hewlett-Packard. Before that, he held the title of finance manager at Volvo Financial Services.
Scott regularly instructs at Kroll’s annual new hire training program.
Scott holds a B.S.in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds an MBA from Emory University. He is also an accredited member of the American Society of Appraisers.
