He has a strong focus on the role of IT within transactions and strategic transformations as well as related to value creation, IT strategy, CIO advisory, cost saving and synergy potentials.
Prior to joining Kroll, Stephan served as head of strategy and corporate M&A at Degussa Bank Group. Before that, he was part of the German management team at Infosys Ltd. and responsible for strategy and value creation, with expertise in IT transformation. In addition, he gained extensive knowledge as a strategy consultant at Roland Berger with a focus on CIO advisory, IT value enhancement and PMI. Stephan started his career as an industry expert in financial services and insurance at DZ Bank AG. Based on his responsibility of numerous large-scale advisory projects in both manufacturing & automotive, he has also gained a profound industry knowledge in these sectors.
Stephan received his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business of Duke University and his diploma (B.Sc.) in Business computer science from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, Stuttgart.
