Steve spent the first twelve years of his career in Washington, D.C. which includes serving five years in the Administration of President Bill Clinton. He is also a veteran of several presidential campaigns. Living in Singapore since 2003, he led public affairs in Asia Pacific for both UPS and KKR. He served five terms as Chair of the AmCham of Asia Pacific and three terms as Chair of AmCham Singapore and is now the Head of External Affairs for the American Association of the Indo Pacific.
Steve frequently appears as an expert analyst on CNBC, Channel NewsAsia, Al-Jazeera and other global media, provides the weekly International News Review for MONEY FM (Singapore) and contributes commentary to Nikkei Asia, The Straits Times, The Business Times, CNA and Asia Times.
Steve holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
