Tom leverages over 35 years of experience as an expert in construction delay matters, project management and project controls across various sectors including power, oil and gas, water treatment, infrastructure, high rise buildings, hotels and multi-use buildings.
Prior to joining Kroll, Tom served as Managing Director at FTI Consulting and led their Construction, Projects and Assets Team in Saudi Arabia and was part of the wider Middle East leadership team. During his nine years in the Middle East, he has held positions as the Head of Delay for Arcadis Middle East and as Regional Director for Faithful & Gould Middle East. Before that Tom owned his own PMC consulting firm in the US for 12 years. In addition to his Middle East experience, Tom’s international experience includes projects in the United States of America, Canada, Caribbean, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Tom has been a guest speaker on numerous industry panels, including serving as a member of the panel of experts for the Project Management Institute’s Capital Project Manager certification course.
Tom holds a B.Sc. in industrial training and has over 15 years of teaching and training experience. He is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional and completed a four-year pipefitter apprenticeship in Philadelphia. Tom attributes his success as a delay expert to his hands-on experience.
