Tom focuses on providing strategic and commercial advice to stakeholders, predominantly in relation to financial distress. He has extensive experience advising organizations in both the public and private sectors on strategic options, leading business/financial reviews and supporting on contingency planning. He also brings experience in turnaround situations, having supported numerous management teams with recovery planning and cash forecasting. His clients have included government bodies, NHS hospital trusts, regulators, lenders, FTSE 100 businesses and private equity funds.
Prior to joining Kroll, Tom has worked in the Restructuring practice of a Big Four firm, and he has also worked within the Special Situations team at UK Government Investments (UKGI), where he advised government departments on a range of commercial matters.
Tom is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and he lectures regularly for the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3).
