Prior to joining Kroll, Xiaoqiang worked with Deloitte & Touche Singapore’s Valuation Services team. In that role, he led engagement teams to provide financial instruments valuation, portfolio valuation, business valuation and financial modeling services to various clients and led the financial instruments and derivatives valuation practice. Before that, he held the title of quantitative modeler for a bank and risk analyst for an asset management firm.
Xiaoqiang’s industry exposures and experience include financial services, health care, energy (oil and gas midstream refiners and downstream distributors), biotechnology, waste treatment, consumer products, commodity trading, construction and building materials, engineering and manufacturing, chemicals, software and IT system developing and operating, human resources services, hospitality and leisure, telecommunication, shipping and logistics, media, food and beverage, real estate, aviation and automotive.
His notable clients include Asian Development Bank, BNP Paribas, Societe Generale, Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ, Tata Capital, Bank of Communications, Sembcorp Industries, Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, Petro China, A*Star, Singapore Exchange, Singapore Medical Group, China Aviation Oil and many others.
Xiaoqiang received a master’s degree in quantitative finance from National University of Singapore. He is an accredited Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) with the Institute of Valuers and Appraisers, Singapore (IVAS) and a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
