William Lane is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Advisory Group, based in the San Francisco office. He is primarily focused on real estate consulting for corporate clients, institutional real estate owners and operators, private equity firms, hedge funds, and real estate investment trusts.

Bill oversees teams in performing real estate advisory projects involving large multi-property global advisory engagements. He has completed many engagements for purchase accounting, lease accounting, foreign investment in real property (FIRPTA), and other financial purposes.

Bill received a B.S. degree in finance with a concentration in investments from Missouri State University. He is a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
