In 2008, Volumatic launched a new product, CounterCashe Intelligent (CCi) which combines counting, anti-forgery, storage and software suites for integration with retailers’ systems.
Role of Duff & Phelps
Duff & Phelps was retained as the exclusive financial advisor to Halma to provide merger and acquisition advisory services in connection with a sale of Volumatic. Duff & Phelps assisted with the global marketing of the business to strategic and financial buyers and managed a tight auction process against a background of challenging financial performance. Duff & Phelps structured an appropriate earn-out mechanism to capture value of CCi growth. Transaction Description Volumatic was acquired in an MBO. The transaction closed on 30 March 2012.
